Te Akau ki Papamoa School uses learning pods, which have been specifically designed to reflect our modern learning environment that accommodates the learning needs of all students.
Each of our five learning pods of classrooms are led by a senior teacher and arranged to ensure success for all learners. Formal and informal settings, group and individual work, activity, presentation opportunities and shared teaching are all a part of the learning pod.
The middle and senior school learning spaces are extremely flexible, allowing teachers the freedom to respond to changing learning needs – for more collaborative teaching and learning.
Our contemporary buildings provide formal and informal learning opportunities, with digital technologies including computers and data projectors in every learning space.
